Sara Funkhouser became Luther Memorial’s new pastor in June 2022. This is Sara’s first call after graduating from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA, in May 2022 and she is looking forward to being a part of the Luther Memorial and Broadview communities! Before attending Wartburg, Sara graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, with degrees in English Literature and Religion, and a minor in Interfaith Studies. Sara and her partner Emily live in Seattle; they love reading, exploring bookstores, and spending time outside in the PNW.
