Earth Ministry – Greening Congregations
Luther Memorial has been recognized as a Greening Congregation by the Earth Ministry Network. This means that we have taken intentional steps toward the care of God’s good Creation, including recycling, composting, only using green materials, remembering Creation in our prayers and in our ministry. We continue to provide fertile soil for the community Giving Garden. God called us to steward and care for Creation, and by God’s grace, we do so!
Reconciling Works
Luther Memorial is a Reconciling in Christ congregation. We publicly and intentionally welcome anyone who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual, or intersex.
The Reconciling in Christ roster includes congregations, synods, college, seminaries, and organizations.
We believe that the love of God is for EVERYONE!
